Trump-endorsed AZ Senate nominee: Is this a free country or a banana republic?

Republican nominee for Senate Blake Masters joined Just the News, Not Noise to discuss the raid on former President Trump's home and what to expect from him if he becomes the next senator from Arizona.  

"What people are focused on is this crazy FBI raid of President Trump's Mar a Lago compound," Masters said on Just the News, Not Noise. "And people are wondering, are we still living in a free country? Or is this a banana republic? It's really, really terrifying."

The Arizona races are heating up with Masters winning his primary for the Senate and Kari Lake winning the Republican nomination for governor. Masters urged that Republicans come out strong for the 2022 midterms. 

"I want every Republican on this America First train in Arizona," Masters said. "I want every Republican to help me and Kari and Eva and Mark get across the finish line. And that's what we have to do. Because the Democrats are in power. They have the House, they have the Senate, they have the White House, and they've just failed."

Masters also talked about some of the issues that Arizonans care the most about in the upcoming elections. 

"The border and just the lawlessness and chaos that Joe Biden has caused at the border," was one example. Another was "Inflation -- they say it's 9.1% in the Phoenix Metro. It's definitely double digits -- some of the worst inflation in the United States."

Masters then concluded that the FBI needs to be apolitical and held to a higher standard. 

"I don't want our side to weaponize the FBI, or the DOJ," Masters said. "I want them to call balls and strikes. I want them to be neutral and apolitical and fair. And we can't let the left do this. And so this is something that all Republicans, all independents and Democrats should have good conscience about that this is unacceptable. It's dangerous and scary. And I think we should present a united front against that kind of government abuse."
