Four people shot on Virginia State University’s campus, students not involved: Police

Multiple suspects have been identified and the charges have not yet been announced.

Four people were shot on Virginia State University’s campus on Wednesday, according to local news reports.

The Chesterfield County Police Department said shortly before 12:40 a.m., officers responded to a shooting that occurred outside of the Daniel Gymnasium on campus. 

None of the people involved in the shooting were students.

Multiple suspects have been identified and the charges have not yet been announced.

The suspects names have not been released publicly. The motive is unknown.
