Kansas City bar shooting leaves 3 dead, 2 injured, police say
The victims are all believed to be adults but their identities were not immediately available.
Three people died and two others were wounded early Sunday morning after a shooting erupted in a bar in Kansas City, Missouri, police said.
Officials responded shortly before 1:30 a.m. local time to the Klymax Lounge, where they found multiple victims in and around the scene, Kansas City Police Officer Donna Drake said, according to Fox News Digital.
First responders found one of the deceased victims inside the lounge and another outside the building, Drake said. The third victim died after being brought to the hospital.
Two other victims were brought to the hospital as well, with one in critical condition and the other in stable condition, Drake also said.
The victims are all believed to be adults but their identities were not immediately available.
Police have not released any information about circumstances surrounding the shooting or any suspect involved.
The bar's Instagram page shows that it had an event scheduled for Saturday night.
