At least 10 people shot outside Queens nightclub after multiple gunmen open fire
Arrests have not been made yet and the victims are expected to survive
At least 10 people were wounded or injured Wednesday night in New York City when multiple gunmen opened fire outside a Queens nightclub that was hosting a private event, according to police officials.
The officials said Thursday the incident occurred at the Amazura nightclub and that the victims include six females and four males.
Authorities are investigating a possibility the incident was gang related.
No arrests had been made as of Thursday morning.
According to local news reports, the gunmen, who were in their mid-to-late-teens to early 20s, fired about 30 shots and at least 10 people were hit by the shots.
The 911 calls came in shortly after 11 p.m.
