No survivors on small plane after it crashes into home in Minnesota

The occupants of the home were able to exit the home, police said.

A small plane crashed into a Brooklyn Park, Minnesota home on Saturday afternoon, resulting in a fire. 

There have been no survivors on the plane, which crashed around 12:20 p.m. local time.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said.

The occupants of the home were able to exit the home, police said. 

The SOCATA TBM7 plane left Des Moines International Airport in Iowa and was heading to Anoka County-Blaine Airport in Minneapolis, the Federal Aviation Administration said in a statement.
