NYC suspect released from psych hold prior to subway shoving of 76-year-old former teacher: report

A 32-year-old man who had recently been released from a psychiatric ward allegedly shoved an elderly man down a flight of stairs to his death Thursday night in Manhattan, according to the New York Post.

The suspect, identified as Rhamell Burke, was detained by police and taken to Bellevue Hospital on Thursday afternoon, a New York Police Department according to Fox News.
