A suspect has been arrested in Texas and taken into custody after a college basketball was shot in the head at a pool party.

According to the Camp County Sheriff’s Office, 17-year-old Onterrian Jamour Newton was charged with murder on Tuesday.

Henderson State University basketball player Jamarion Brown was discovered at the party injured from a gunshot wound.
