Woman allegedly kills one person, murders two others in attack with samurai sword in Los Angeles

A woman allegedly murdered one person and injured two others with a samurai sword in Los Angeles.

KTLA published video on video showing the woman with the sword in her hand.

Police have not yet determined the motive behind the attack, which took place on Thursday, according to the latest local news reports. 

When the Los Angeles County Sheriff department discovered the alleged attacker, she laid down the sword and led officers to a home where the female victim was at the time.

Upon seeing police, the woman laid down the sword. Another clip shows the object lying next to a U-Haul truck parked on the street.

"That female then directs them to a residence on the street where the deputies find an additional female suffering also from lacerations, [who] was later pronounced dead at the scene," said Los Angeles Sheriff's Deparment Lt. Daniel Vizcarra.
