Senate Republicans 'trying to get' copy of Iran deal

President Donald Trump's agreement with Iran to end the war has not been released to the public and the unspecified terms have Senate Republicans eager to receive a copy for their assessment.
Trump announced the deal on Sunday, with a signing ceremony set for Friday. Vice President JD Vance has stated that the U.S. will release the text this week while Trump himself floated reading it aloud on air to ensure accurate reporting. Nevertheless, the document has not become public as of press time.
Senate Majority Leader John Thune, for his part, confirmed to reporters that the Senate was "trying to get it."
“What we hear about it, obviously, is that it’s sort of a framework to allow for discussions to continue," Thune said. "I think at the end of the day the goal here is to make sure Iran ends its nuclear program and whatever financial incentives they have should be conditioned upon that."

As of press time, Trump has stated that Iran committed to never acquiring a nuclear weapon and free transit through the Strait of Hormuz, but few details beyond those stipulations have emerged.
