President Donald Trump has unveiled his new Air Force One, a gift from Qatar until new planes ordered directly from Boeing arrive.

Trump showed off the "bridge" aircraft Friday at Andrews Air Force Base, in suburban Maryland. The jumbo jet's left side, where the president boards, features the presidential seal, while the tail of the aircraft has a massive American flag on it, according to the Associated Press

The new jets, from Boeing, are set to arrive in 2028, the year Trump leaves office.

The Trump administration accepted the luxury Boeing 747 jet from Qatar last year amid questions about the ethics and legality of accepting such an expensive gift from a foreign nation. Trump has said he will not fly around in the jet after he leaves office and that it will instead be donated to a future presidential library.

“The workmanship of this plane is, when you see it, you won’t believe it,” Trump said from inside a hangar at Andrews.
