The Biden White House on Monday released details of President Biden's proposal for changes to the Supreme Court including term limits for justices.

Biden suggested such a plan in a recent Oval Office address, calling on Congress to establish term limits and an ethics code for the court’s nine justices. In addition, Biden is asking congressional lawmakers to ratify a constitutional amendment to limit presidential immunity.

The plan – titled in part "To Reform the Supreme Court and Ensure No President Is Above the Law – faces long odd of passing in Congress in which Republicans narrowly control the House and Democrats narrowly control the Senate, with just 99 days to go before Election Day.
