The state funeral for former President Jimmy Carter will be held on Jan. 9 at Washington National Cathedral, in the nation's capital.

Carter died Sunday. He was 100 years old.

The cathedral, just a few miles north of the White House, has been the site of several state funerals for former presidents including Dwight Eisenhower, Ronald Reagan, Gerald Ford and George H. W. Bush, according to ABC News.

President Joe Biden will reported speak at the service, which will almost certainly bring world leaders, including former U.S. presidents to the cathedral.
