Abbott drops off more busloads of migrants outside Vice President Harris' residence
It is unclear whether Abbott sent Sunday's busload of migrants, but he sent multiple busloads before.
Texas GOP Gov. Greg Abbott has sent more busloads of migrants to Vice President Kamala Harris' official residence in Washington, D.C.
Dozens arrived by bus Sunday evening from from the south Texas border city of Del Rio , according to a local ABC affiliate.
Abbott last week sent two other buses with about 80 migrants to vice president's residence, which is on the grounds of the U.S. Naval Observatory compound.
"Until President Biden steps up and does his job, Texas will continue busing migrants to sanctuary cities to provide relief to our overwhelmed border towns," Abbott's spokesperson Andrew Mahaleris told The Texas Tribune.
Abbot sent multiple busloads in September and December of 2022.
