Texas offers Trump 1,400 acres for 'largest deportation of violent criminals' in U.S. history
Buckingham said the Texas government is “fully prepared to enter into an agreement" with the U.S. government
Texas Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham wrote to President-elect Donald Trump on Tuesday offering him 1,402 acres of land in Starr County n the Rio Grande Valley sector near the southern border for his mass deportation operation of violent criminals who are illegally residing in the U.S.
The state purchased the land from a ranch owner last month, according to Fox News.
Buckingham said the Texas government is “fully prepared to enter into an agreement with the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or the United States Border Patrol to allow a facility to be built for the processing, detention, and coordination of the largest deportation of violent criminals in the nation’s history.”
