President Trump on Sunday called on Republicans to add Iran to the current Russian sanctions bill that the late Sen. Lindsey Graham was working on before his death.

"Republicans should add Iran to the Russian Sanctions Bill. That’s what Lindsey wanted to do, and it was going to happen. IMPORTANT!!!" he wrote on social media. 

The sanctions bill was revised recently to ease some of the provisions on tariffs related to China and India as a way to win broader support, Reuters reported.
