President Donald Trump participates in a bill signing ceremony Friday at the White House, where he is approving awarding the 1980 U.S. Olympic men's hockey team with congressional medals.

The team is famous for its upset victory over the Soviet Union in what has since become known as the "Miracle on Ice," and the win became a symbolic Cold War cultural victory for the United States.

The ceremony was expected to begin at 3 p.m. Eastern and can be viewed here.
