NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will travel to Washington to meet with President Donald Trump on April 8. The meeting comes amid the U.S. leader’s latest round of blistering attacks against the alliance.

Trump has criticized NATO for members’ limited support for the Israeli- and U.S.-led conflict with Iran.

Trum also threatened to pull the U.S. out of the NATO alliance, a move that would require a two-thirds vote in the Senate.

In addition to meeting with Trump, Rutte will meet with Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
