Baldwin pleads not guilty to involuntary manslaughter charges related to fatal 'Rust' shooting
A preliminary hearing is likely to be scheduled by the end of April.
Actor Alec Baldwin on Thursday pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, and he waived his first appearance in New Mexico court.
Baldwin was scheduled for a virtual hearing Friday, but that has since been canceled, The Daily Mail reported.
A preliminary hearing is likely to be scheduled by the end of April.
Baldwin faces up to 18 months in jail after First Judicial District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies removed a firearm enhancement charge from the counts Baldwin faced relating to Hutchins' death on the "Rust" film set in 2021.
