Four people are dead after a gunman in Moultrie, Ga., killed three people and himself on Thursday.
The gunman killed his mother and grandmother before storming into a McDonald's, killing the assistant manager, and taking his own life, CBS News reported. The gunman's mother and grandmother lived next door to one another and were shot in their homes.
The mother died at the scene while the grandmother was hospitalized and died at the facility, Colquitt County Coroner C. Verlyn Brock told the outlet.
Brock confirmed to the Moultrie Observer that the gunman was 26, while his mother was 50, his grandmother 74, and the McDonald's employee 41. He further indicated that the gunman had the same address on file as his mother.
The connection between the McDonald's employee and the gunman remains unclear. Neither the identities of the victims nor the gunman have been made public as of press time.
