Police: Two young men charged in connection with mass shooting at Philadelphia bus stop

Two 18-year-old men are in police custody in connection with a mass shooting at a bus stop in Philadelphia last week, according to authorities. 

Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner said Monday that the two 18-year-olds have been charged with criminal attempted murder, aggravated assault and conspiracy, ABC News reported. 

Last Wednesday, three masked gunmen left a car near a bus stop and shot more than 30 rounds toward high schoolers attempting to board the bus, according to Philadelphia police. A fourth suspect stayed in the car during the shooting. 

Eight teenagers, from ages 15 to 17, were shot, with two of them hospitalized in critical condition. One of the teenagers was hit nine times, but has since been "upgraded [at the hospital] and is talking," police reported on Monday. 

Two of the four suspects are still at large, according to police. 

"We're not done," Philadelphia Police Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore said at a Monday news conference. "We have other people that we need to contact. We know who they are and we're gonna continually move with our investigation." 

All of the victims are students at Philadelphia's Northeast High School, according to local media. 

This was the fourth shooting in under a week that involved a SEPTA bus.
