Actor Kirk Cameron teams up with Brave Books to launch TV program
"The power of storytelling is just unbelievably strong," Cameron said.
Actor, author and activist Kirk Cameron announced Monday that he would be teaming up with the publishing company "Brave Books" to launch a television program.
"The power of storytelling is just unbelievably strong," Cameron said on Glenn Beck's show.
The program is titled "Adventures with Iggy and Mr. Kirk."
"Too much of children’s television content today is mind-numbing, cringy, or full of just downright harmful messages," the description reads. "This is why children need Adventures with Iggy and Mr. Kirk to exist, it is a groundbreaking live-action children’s TV show that will not only entertain your children but also build their character at the same time."
The goal is to have two seasons of the show and Kirk said that they are fundraising in order to meet that threshold.
"We want to build this ourselves," Cameron told Beck. "We need to raise the funds. We need to make it. I'm all in. We've got the team."
He added that people can contribute at Watchbrave.com.
