Bob Saget died from head trauma, family says
The medical examiner concluded he hit the back of his head and went to sleep.
Bob Saget's family released a statement Wednesday saying that the comedian died from "head trauma" last month in a Florida hotel room.
The family stated that the medical examiner's office concluded that Saget "passed from head trauma."
"They have concluded that he accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it and went to sleep," according to USA Today.
The statement added that "no drugs or alcohol were involved" in his death.
Saget, 65, was found unresponsive in his Ritz-Carlton hotel room in Orlando on Jan. 9.
No signs of trauma were initially reported.
He is remembered for staring as dad Danny Tanner on "Full House" and hosting "America's Funniest Home Videos."
