Journey co-founder George Tickner dead at 76
Tickner left Journey in 1975 to attend Stanford University on a full scholarship and he later pursued a career in medicine.
Journey co-founder and original guitarist George Tickner died at the age of 76, co-founder Neal Schon confirmed on social media.
"Thank you for your incomparable contributions to Journey's early years," Schon wrote on Facebook this week.
Tickner left Journey in 1975 to attend Stanford University on a full scholarship and he later pursued a career in medicine.
