The Michigan Wolverines triumphed over the Washington Huskies in the College Football Playoffs on Monday night.

The final score was 34-13, ESPN reported.

The current season saw the Wolverines face considerable controversy surrounding what the Big Ten Conference deemed "an impermissible, in-person scouting operation over multiple years, resulting in an unfair competitive advantage that compromised the integrity of competition."

Coach Jim Harbaugh was suspended in November from coaching games for the remainder of the regular season, but permitted to perform regular coaching duties.
