Morgan Spurlock, director of the famous "Super Size Me" documentary about McDonald's, has died at 53.

Spurlock died on Thursday from complications of cancer.

"Super Size Me" was released in 2004. It follows Spurlock's journey of eating McDonald's menu items every day for a month.
