'Reagan' movie actor Nick Searcy says film is for all people, regardless of politics

Actor Nick Searcy who plays former Secretary of State James Baker in the "Reagan" film says that the movie is for every American, no matter what political views they have. 

"It's a really good movie no matter what side of the aisle you're on because it's a great story," Searcy said on the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show. "Reagan is a great American story."

The film about the 40th president of the U.S., Ronald Reagan, exceeded expectations and has so far made $7.4 million, according to The Associated Press.

While most of the mainstream movie critics panned it, the movie received a 98% audience fan rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with just a 21% critics rating on the popular site as of Wednesday evening.

Actor Dennis Quaid plays Reagan in the film.
