As of press time, AAA marked the average national price at $3.999 per gallon, with roughly half the states enjoying prices meaningfully below that mark.

Trump signed a memorandum of understanding with Iran on Wednesday to end the conflict, with a formal signing ceremony set for Friday. The 14-point plan includes sanctions relief for Iran, a commitment to refrain from developing nuclear weapons, and a ceasefire on all fronts.
The terms have drawn scrutiny from Israel and war hawks, though the terms seem to have calmed markets and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz may have contributed to the price falls.
