California Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff's Senate primary victory speech was interrupted by protestors yelling in support of a cease-fire in the Gaza Strip.

As Schiff spoke Tuesday evening, chants of "Cease-fire now!" and "Let Gaza live!" can be heard from the crowd. A video shows some protesters being escorted out of the auditorium.

Pro-Palestine groups If Not Now and Jewish Voice for Peace claimed responsibility for the demonstration.

Schiff is expected to face off against Republican candidate Steve Garvey this November after they were the top two finishers in Tuesday's primary.
