Chief Executive Officer of Rebel News Ezra Levant says that Twitter CEO Elon Musk has been a real champion of free speech as a result of his takeover of the social media company.

"Elon Musk has stopped the censorship culture at Twitter," Levant said on Tuesday's edition of the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show. "Because I think had he not bought the company, that video would have been throttled and maybe even counted as a strike against us."

Levant attended the World Economic Forum last week in Davos, Switzerland where he went viral with a video for confronting the CEO of Pfizer, Albert Bourla, asking him questions regarding the vaccine.

"We now know that the vaccines didn't stop transmission," Levant said in the video to the CEO. "But why did you keep it secret? You said it was 100% effective, then 90% and 80%, then 70%. But we now know that the vaccines do not stop transmission. Why did you keep that secret?"

Bourla did not answer any of Levant's questions. Levant said the video has been viewed over 20 million times on Twitter.

According to Levant, Musk's ownership of Twitter allowed so many people to see that confrontation.

"We all owe Elon Musk a debt of gratitude for peeking behind the curtain and showing us how censorship occurred at Twitter," he stated. "And we can extrapolate that it is still happening at Facebook, YouTube, Google, Instagram and all the other platforms. Twitter is the only one that's pretty free."
