Antisemitic attack killed more Jews in 2025 than previous three decades: report

According to the report, 20 Jews were murdered in four incidents across three continents.

A surge in violent attacks against Jews in 2025 resulted in the highest number of murders in 30 years, according to a new report by Tel Aviv University. 

The report notes that total counts of antisemitic activity, which includes vandalism, verbal threats and harassment, fell last year compared to 2024. Violent incidents, which includes assaults, were up. 

According to the report, 20 Jews were murdered in four incidents across three continents. 

The last year that more Jews were killed was in 1994, when a suicide bomber drove a van into a building in Argentina, killing 85 people and injuring hundreds more, according to The Times of Israel.
