Trump to hold press conference in Los Angeles on Friday morning

Former President Donald Trump is expected to hold a press conference in Los Angeles this Friday, his presidential campaign shared Monday evening.
It is not clear what the press conference will be about, but it comes after a busy week of campaigning for the former president. Trump is currently scheduled to debate Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday night, speak at a fundraiser in Los Angeles on Thursday night, and then hold the press conference on Friday morning at his golf course in Rancho Palos Verdes.
The visit comes after Trump's running mate, Ohio Sen. JD Vance, campaigned in the Golden State over the weekend. Vance spoke at a fundraiser in Los Angeles on Sunday night, and visited a California town just outside of the border with Mexico to discuss illegal immigration, according to the Los Angeles Daily News.
Friday's press conference is set to begin at 9 a.m. Pacific time, or 12 p.m. noon Eastern, according to a campaign press release.
