Trump rally in Detroit briefly disrupted by technical difficulties

Former President Donald Trump's rally in Detroit on Friday night was briefly disrupted by technical difficulties, after his microphone cut out less than 10 minutes into the event.
Organizers brought a second handheld microphone out for the former president, but the second microphone also did not work, forcing Trump to pace on the stage and interact with fans while event staff attempted to fix the issue.
The rally eventually resumed after more than 15 minutes, according to The Independent.
"Thank you everybody," Trump said to applause when the audio resumed. "So now what happens is I won't pay the bill for this stupid company that rented us this crap. I won't pay the bill, and then we'll have a story that 'Trump didn't pay the bill to a contractor.' No, when they do that kind of a job, they'll pay the bill. That's terrible. They also had little problem with energy coming into the building. But I'm not blaming it on that."
