Trump slams Biden on foreign affairs: 'We have a man that doesn't understand what he's doing'
Biden "has told China and these other places that are hostile that we have no ammunition," Trump said.
Former President Donald Trump slammed President Joe Biden's handling of foreign affairs, specifically hammering the Democrat for giving away large amounts of U.S. ammunition and then revealing it to the world.
"We have a man that doesn't understand what he's doing," President Donald Trump said on Fox News' "Sunday Morning Futures."
"We have a man that yesterday stood up and told the whole world that we have no ammunition," Trump also said in the pre-recorded interview that aired Sunday.
Biden, earlier this month, told CNN that he was sending internationally-banned cluster munitions to Ukraine because the United States is running "low" on 155 mm ammunition, as the U.S. has given millions of rounds of it to Ukraine in its fight against Russia.
"Do you know I had every ammunition building full to the brim three years ago? We have given it all away. But if you gave it all away, it's terrible," Trump also said during the interview.
When asked by Fox host Maria Bartiromo how dangerous it is for the U.S. to be low on ammunition, Trump responded: "The only thing worse than that is to tell the world that we have no – he has told China and these other places that are hostile that we have no ammunition."
He also said that Biden's comments are "worse" than any classified document that could be given to the enemy. "Think of it. How stupid can somebody be to say that?"
