Prince Charles tests positive for coronavirus
Queen remains in good health, Buckingham Palace
First in line to the British crown, Prince Charles has tested positive for coronavirus.
Buckingham Place indicated that Queen Elizabeth II, 93, has not been infected, saying she “remains in good health."
Prince Charles, who is 71, is now self-isolating in Scotland. According the the palace’s statement, Prince Charles “has been displaying mild symptoms but otherwise remains in good health and has been working from home throughout the last few days as usual.”
Charles’s wife, Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall, tested negative for the virus. She is also self-isolating in Scotland.
To date, 422 people in the United Kingdom have died after being infected with the virus.
