Trump to hold rally in Pennsylvania, where GOP's Dr. Oz faces tough Senate race

Former President Trump will hold a rally Sept. 3, in Pennsylvania to support the campaigns of Republicans Doug Mastriano for governor and Dr. Mehmet Oz for Senate.
The rally is set to take place in Wilkes-Barre, and Trump is expected to deliver his remarks at 7 p.m.
Polling shows Trump-backed Oz faces a strong challenge in Democratic Lt. Gov. John Fetterman, who holds an average lead of 8.7 points over the former TV star, according to RealClearPolitics.
That figure includes a mid-June poll in which Fetterman had a 9-point lead over Oz. A separate one from that month showing Fetterman with a six-point lead, and a Fox News poll in July showed Fetterman 11-points ahead.
The pair are battling to replace retiring GOP Sen. Pat Toomey, who served one term in office.
Mastriano is faring only marginally better against Democratic opponent Josh Shapiro, who holds an average 5.7-point lead on RCP.
