Conservative group Restoration of America launched a new nonprofit educational arm to help teach Americans about the founding U.S. principles.

"We have the greatest country in the world and we have an obligation to educate our children and grandchildren about our founding and what made America exceptional," Doug Truax, group founder and president, said Wednesday. "We have a great story to tell and it needs to be told loudly because the anti-American Left is trying daily to denigrate our great history."

The new group, Foundation for the Restoration of America, will offer a 12-lecture course online about the founding of America and the development of the Constitution. The organization is offering students a chance to apply for up to $10,000 in scholarships for completing Introduction To The Constitution and Constitution 101 courses.

Christine Altenberger will be the nonprofit's executive director.

"We can’t wait to tell America’s story to a nation that is losing its heritage," she said.
