San Francisco 49ers star Nick Bosa jumped into his teammates’ post-game interview on the football field Sunday wearing a Make America Great Again hat, former President Donald Trump's main campaign theme.
The 49ers’ defeated the Dallas Cowboys 30-24 on Sunday.
Brock Purdy, George Kittle and Isaac Guerendo were being interviewed by NBC’s Melissa Stark when Bosa, 27, jumped in the camera shot pointing to his hat.
“All right, Nick Bosa with a message there,” said Stark.
During a news conference after the interview, Bosa, who was no longer wearing the hat, was asked about his support for Trump.
“I’m not going to talk too much about it, but I think that it’s an important time,” said Bosa, who won the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award in 2022.
Former NFL star Brett Farve is also supporting Trump. He is scheduled to speak at a campaign rally on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
The election takes place in less than a week on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
