The Biden campaign responded to former President Trump posting climate talking points ahead of Thursday night's CNN debate.

"Donald Trump is just posting his debate talking points. Thanks I guess," wrote Ammar Moussa, Biden's rapid response director wrote on X.

Trump published a screenshot of his talking points for energy-related issues during the debate with Biden.

The screenshot included a portion attributed to Andrew Wheeler, who served as Trump’s former EPA administrator.

Wheeler appeared to advise Trump in the document to emphasize that carbon dioxide emissions dropped during his administration and place blame on Biden for energy cost increases. The document also advised Trump to condemn Biden's move to rejoin the Paris Climate Accords, which Trump had pulled the U.S. out of during his first term.
