Buttigieg leading potential Democrats in 2026 Michigan U.S. Senate primary election: Poll

A Blueprint Polling memo published by Semafor showed Buttigieg received support from 40% of respondents and Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel placed second with 16 percent.

Former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is leading other potential Democrats in the 2026 Michigan Senate primary election, according to a new polling data.

A Blueprint Polling memo published by Semafor showed Buttigieg received support from 40% of respondents and Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel placed second with 16 percent.

Reps. Hillary Scholten and Haley Stevens, State Senator Mallory McMorrow and Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist received single-digit results. Gilchrist has said she is not running for Senate.
