California Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom and Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis have agreed to a televised debate in November – after months of shadowboxing each other on the matter.

"I’ll bring my hair gel. You bring your hairspray," Newsom said in Sept. 2022 in challenging DeSantis to debate.

The debate will be on the night of Nov. 30 and moderated by Fox News Channel opinion show host Sean Hannity, according to The Hill newspaper

DeSantis is also a 2024 GOP presidential candidate and the leader of what has emerged a popular home for conservatives and conservative politics.

Newson leads the liberal vanguard state of California and continues to be considered a possible late entry in next year's White House race, with President Biden the presumptive nominee of their Democratic Party. However, Newsom has repeatedly said he will not seek the nomination.

The debate will be held in Georgia.
