Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis on Thursday signed into law a measure to further secure the state's voting system that includes new requirements on mail-in, dropbox and absentee balloting.

DeSantis said the bill prohibits the mass mailing of ballots and restricts the use of drop boxes, according to Fox News. The bill also aims to enforce voter ID and ballot harvesting by ensuring drop boxes are geographically located throughout the state.
