Harris is reportedly writing her concession speech at Naval Observatory with speechwriter and advisers.
Democratic nominee Kamala Harris is writing her concession speech with lead speechwriter Adam Frankel and other advisers at the Naval Observatory, the vice president's residence, and will publicly concede the race at 4 p.m. Eastern in remarks at her alma mater and election-night HQ, Howard University, CNN reports, citing her aides.
She plans to speak to President-elect Donald Trump before then, and will tell supporters to "accept the results of the presidential election" and look for areas of "common ground" with Trump voters. The address is "intended to strike similar themes to the closing days of her campaign," CNN reports.
