Businessman Tony Wied won the GOP primary for Wisconsin's 8th congressional district, The New York Times reported.
Wied won the three-way race with about 41% of the vote over second place state Sen. Roger Roth with about 34%, and state Sen. Andre Jacque in third.
Roth conceded at 10:30 p.m. and The Associated Press called the race for Wied five minutes later.
Wied was endorsed by former President Donald Trump.
He will face Kristin Lyerly, an abortion rights activist and an OB-GYN in the upcoming November election, according to the Wisconsin Examiner.
