Kari Lake slams Senate opponents' voting records on Iran deal and border
"We need to vote these people out and get some common sense, America First policies enacted," Lake said.
Arizona GOP Senate candidate Kari Lake slammed opponents Ruben Gallego, D-Az., and Kyrsten Sinema, I-Az., for their voting records on the Iran nuclear deal and the southern border.
"Ruben Gallego and Kyrsten Sinema have been a rubber stamp for Joe Biden's disastrous border policy," Lake said on the Thursday edition of the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show. "Kyrsten Sinema voted three times, at least, to not fund the border wall."
Biden's time in the White House has seen record numbers of border encounters, with more than 7 million people illegally entering the country during his tenure.
In regard to foreign policy, Gallego voted for the Iran Nuclear Agreement in 2015, but has recently made a statement calling on the Biden administration to freeze Iranian assets after the Hamas attack on Israel.
"It should have been an issue even before this absolute heinous attack, that he could vote for the Iran deal and vote with Joe Biden on that Iran deal and vote to fund some of the most barbaric terrorists on the planet is unconscionable," Lake said in reference to Gallego. "I don't know how he looks at himself. He should resign from Congress immediately."
According to an exclusive report by The Wall Street Journal, Iranian officials helped plot the Hamas attack on Israel for the last several weeks.
Republican Senators Tom Cotton and Mitch McConnell recently introduced a bill to stop the Biden administration from allowing Iran to access $6 billion in oil payments that were unfrozen as part of a prisoner swap last month.
"We need to vote these people out and get some common sense, America First policies enacted, and turn this nightmare around," Lake said.
