Former United Nations Ambassador and 2024 GOP Presidential candidate Nikki Haley on Thursday celebrated former President Donald Trump's time in office, but said voters are open to other candidates to lead the nation.

"Voters very much respect what he did and appreciate the work he did when he was president," Haley said in an exclusive interview on the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show. "But they're ready for options. They want to know there's something more than just Biden and Trump."

Haley said she enjoys a positive relationship with Trump and is very proud of the work they did together when she was the United Nations Ambassador.

"He's my friend," she said. "I was proud to serve with him. I think we did great foreign policy together and this is the fact that I just think we need to go in a different direction. I don't think you have to be 80 years old to serve in Washington."

The former GOP South Carolina governor emphasized the importance of getting people of different backgrounds into the Republican Party.

"This is a story about addition," Haley stated. "We need to get the Hispanic community, we need to get the Jewish community, we need to get the Asian community, we need women, we need African Americans and we need all ages."

"The way you do that is you go and say, 'what do you care about?' And guess what? They all care about their kids' education, they all want them to have opportunities they didn't have, and they all want to have a safe America that is strong abroad."
