The National Republican Congressional Committee raised more than the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in a single month for the first time this year, according to the latest fundraising figures.

NRCC brought in $12.6 million in May compared to the DCCC’s $11.9 million.

Trump's conviction in the hush money case contributed to the rise in small dollar donations to Trump's campaign and Republican organizations like the NRCC.

The group raised about $1 million in small donations after Trump was found guilty.

So far this election cycle, the DCCC raised $191 million and the NRCC brought in $147 million.
