You Vote: Should Ronna McDaniel remain RNC chair?

In the wake of the midterm elections, Republicans are calling for a leadership change.

Attorney Harmeet Dhillon is gaining some support from within the Republican National Committee in her bid to unseat Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.

Morton Blackwell, founder of the conservative training group The Leadership Institute, backed Dhillon over the weekend.

Meanwhile, several state RNC groups have expressed frustration with the party under McDaniel. The Republican parties of both Texas and Arizona, for example, have expressed no confidence in her and called for new leadership.

Most committee members have already pledged their support for a fourth term for McDaniel. But Republicans have underperformed in the past three election cycles, after McDaniel became the RNC leader in 2017, causing a growing number of voices to raise concerns about reelecting her.
