Eminem wants Ramaswamy to stop rapping his songs

Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has recently made waves rapping the music of Eminem on the campaign trail, but the rapper himself does not appear to approve of his performances.

The Ramaswamy campaign had entered into an agreement with music licenser Broadcast Music, Inc., in May, but Eminem has since asked that the company revoke the Republican's license to use his material.

In an Aug. 23 letter obtained by the Daily Mail, the licenser informs the campaign of the rapper's request, stating that the company "'received communications from Marshall B. Mathers, III, professionally known as Eminem, objecting to the Vivek Ramaswamy campaign's use of Eminem's musical compositions (the 'Eminem Works') and requesting that BMI remove all Eminem Works from the Agreement."

The letter further states that the campaign may no longer use Eminem's music on the campaign trail.

Eminem's request follows a viral moment at the Iowa State Fair in which the Republican rapped "Lose Yourself" on stage.
