Idaho murder suspect Kohberger agrees to extradition to Idaho
Pennsylvania State Police arrested Kohberger in December over the Nov. 13 killings of Kaylee Goncalves, Maddie Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin.
Bryan Kohberger, who faces first-degree murder charges in connection with the deaths of four University of Idaho students, has agreed to extradition from Pennsylvania to face the charges in Idaho.
"Do you wish to waive your rights and voluntarily return to state of Idaho to face prosecution?" asked the judge, according to the New York Post, prompting a succinct "yes" from Kohberger.
He further denied having any mental health issues in the roughly 10-minute hearing.
Pennsylvania State Police arrested Kohberger in December over the Nov. 13 killings of Kaylee Goncalves, Maddie Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin.
The case remained a high profile mystery until Kohberger's arrest, with police sharing minimal information prior to a press conference on the arrest confirming Kohberger would face first-degree murder charges.
