Florida Hispanic voters support DeSantis over Crist, poll
Hispanic voters are also split on their thoughts about how DeSantis sent a plane of migrants to Martha's Vineyard.
Hispanic voters in Florida are supporting Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis over Democratic challenger Charlie Crist, a new poll shows.
DeSantis is ahead of Crist by 51% to 44% amongst likely Hispanic voters, according to the Telemundo/LX News poll released Monday.
DeSantis also has a 56% approval rating among the Latino voters polled and a 41% disapproval rating.
Hispanic voters are also split on their thoughts about DeSantis having sent two planes of migrants to the affluent liberal island of Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, with 50% in favor and 43% opposed.
The bilingual survey was conducted by Mason-Dixon Polling & Strategy with 625 likely Hispanic voters from Oct. 17-22 with a margin of error of 4%.
